One of the 'most dangerous' WhatsApp message is back in India.

WhatsApp gold message is back to spread panic among users. Interestingly, there are several variants of the message. Some messages could redirect you to link, while other versions of the same message could be a hoax message. Here is everything you need to know.

                                  

What is WhatsApp Gold?

It is a hoax set up. If a user downloads the video then a malware will be installed in the phone which would lead to the device being hacked.Scams on whatsapp are unfortunately quite common but fake whatsapp is a bit of an oddity. But it did happen a couple of years back also in 2016 when an app called WhatsApp Gold was being surfaced on the internet as an upgrade.

What to do if you receive the WhatsApp Gold hoax upgrade?

Any update to WhatsApp will usually happen automatically through the app itself. Be wary of clicking on the links that promises some extra features like more customization, themes etc.If you receive such any message ignore it and delete it altogether.

Previously also WhatsApp confirmed that WhatsApp Gold was a fake stating that they have no relationship with the plus version. So we should be aware now also so that our data cannot be compromised.

1. It is for those economic upper communities that do not come under the 50% quota as mandated by the Supreme Court.

2. The quota will be applicable to economically backwards among Hindus, Muslims, Christians.

3. This new quota will not affect the reservation for SC's, ST's and OBC's.   

4. Apllicable to families:- 

(a) income below 8 lakhs per  annum.

(b) possessing agricultural land below 5 acre.

(c) residential plot below 1000 square feet.

(d) for urban areas, those with residential plot below 100 yards in notified municipality or residential plot below 200 yards in non-notified municipal area will be considered for reservation.
